about

Goofy but not.... We're sheltering in place with my step daughter and her boyfriend. On April 2 we lined milk crates with T-shirts and planted our victory garden on the deck here at the Gillen family compound, where hopefully the deer can't get to it. There's plenty for them out in the woods. The title song took some time to write. This one made up for that. (Probably pretty obvious.) I think it will carry into the next ep "See The Light."

lyrics

April 2 gonna plant some seeds
spring is here gonna plant some seeds
add in the compost, rake out the leaves
April 2 gonna plant some seeds

there is a big crack through the human race
like an earthquake across the world
people are afraid that they’re gonna get sick
like fish in a barrel who will get picked

April 2 gonna plant some seeds
spring is here gonna plant some seeds
add in the compost, pull up the weeds
April 2 gonna plant some seeds

the Earth will be fine without us
the Earth will be better off with less of us
the Earth goes on, when things change
and the trees and flowers still grow

April 2 gonna plant some seeds
spring is here gonna plant some seeds
add in the compost, pull up the weeds
April 2 gonna plant some seeds
