about

Inspired by the leadership of our reality-TV-star-in-chief.

lyrics

we’re number one in cases of the latest disease
number one with a bullet if we could go higher we’d be there
we’re number twenty-seven in quality healthcare
what’s the sum of twenty-seven added to number one?

I don’t know the answer
but it can’t be good
is America great again yet?
is America great again yet?
is America great?
can somebody please explain?

we’re number one in cases of incarceration
number one with a bullet, there is no higher rating
we’re number fourteen in education
what’s the sum of fourteen added to number one?

I don’t know the answer
but it can’t be good
is America great again yet?
is America great again yet?
is America great?
can somebody please explain?

there’s a sick irrational, teenage, reckless streak
running through the fabric of this nation
it’s always had potential to get us all killed
freedom of expression, freedom of ignorance
is it all just cover for some sick death wish?

solo over chorus

we’re number one in guns, everybody’s got them
number one with bullets, we ain’t afraid to use them
no one wants quarantine’s pristine isolation
when the food runs low who will start the shooting?

I don’t know the answer
but it can’t be good
is America great again yet?
is America great again yet?
is America great?
can somebody please explain?
